Robot-Six was founded by Rachel McConnell and Gerard Dumuk.
They come from diverse backgrounds that are reflected in their design aesthetic with a goal to provide high quality design and craftsmanship that is truly affordable and within reach.
Gerard has been a tinkerer since an early age. As a child he was barely 3 years old when he removed all of the cabinet doors shortly after his father showed him how to use a screwdriver. An engineer at heart, he once restored a Porsche 914 to its full glory. He designs with clean lines, classic shapes, good ergonomics.
Rachel is known as an inventor and an innovator and has installed artwork that traverses the divide between the digital and the analog on both coasts. She designs functional items that are still full of whimsy and play.
